Winter 2008 UPDATE

Happy new year, all! We hope that each of you had a wonderful holiday. We celebrated Christmas with friends and family, and frankly, we’re tired! It sure was lots of fun while it lasted, however. We are back to the grind of our day jobs, but are looking forward to upcoming shows. See our schedule for details!

Donny is still busy writing and putting finishing touches on songs for our next CD, Highway of Broken Dreams. We will be going into the studio in March to begin recording. So, we have plenty of work to do! We think that you all will enjoy the variety of songs we have in store for our listeners!

Back in November, Chesham Creek played at the Minuteman Mini-Mall Antiques Store in Culpeper, VA for their Open House. Portions of the show were filmed and aired on local television stations over the past couple pf months. You can access it on our Media page. Not everyone gets to share a TV spot with Santa!

The Chesham Chicks did a show at Borders Books in Warrenton, VA recently. We had a great turnout despite the miserable weather. We enjoyed doing our folk, country and traditional songs. Gary and Patty spent New Year’s in Asheville, NC to join up with brother Larry for a Keel Brothers show. (Bet that was a great time!)

We thank you all for your continued support of Chesham Creek. You may have noticed that our web manager, Scott, has given us a new look. He’s done such a fine job of adding many new features. Be sure to check out the streaming video as well as the dates of upcoming shows! Hope to see you there!
